Katika Africa is an exclusive safari tour company specializing in private safaris throughout Africa. Katika is a Swahili word and in in this context means "out of" or "from" Africa. The tree is the Baobab tree or Mbuyu tree and known as "The Tree of Life". In the way that the tree is more than just a tree to those who surround it, Katika is more than just a travel company.
